We’re seeking a Flash Developer, with expert knowledge of Actionscript and Design Patterns. This person can engage on complicated Flash application development, and deliver a highly polished product.
Qualifications:
- Actionscript 2.0/3.0 expert, is comfortable with Object Oriented programming and makes efficient use of accepted design patterns.
- Comfortable with the creation and parsing of XML. Most projects will include the consumption of XML, or AMF.
- Ability to scope projects accurately, and effectively communicates with greater team.
- Ability to lead a development team, and be mindful of delivery dates.
- Knowledgeable of Flash Video concepts including Flash Media Server, understands the difference between progressive download and streaming.
- Has a strong math aptitude, and can implements simple trigonometry solutions.
- Ability to manipulate and optimize creative assets with or without creative
- Can animate using only code, knowledgeable about tween engines such as Zigo and Fuse.
- Understands garbage collection, event models, and Delegates.
- Comfortable optimizing flash applications for both CPU and memory use.
- Refrains from using any timeline code, and Class linkages in Library.
- Avoids extending movieclips, and favors composition in software architecture.
- Comfortable in development environments such as Eclipse.
- Experienced integrating with .NET, Java, or PHP backends.
- Capable of performing code reviews on more junior developers, and help develop the core capability of the group.
